Kamal Saleem: Wake Up America!

Recently, I’ve put up a couple posts with video of an interview Kamal Saleem did concerning his book, The Blood of Lambs.  So far I have gotten the first three parts of the six-part interview up.  Today I will be putting up the last three parts of that interview.

If you are unaware, Kamal Saleem is a former terrorist, and The Blood of Lambs is his story.  It covers everything from being recruited and going on his first mission at the age of seven, to coming to the U.S. to recruit and wage “culture jihad.”  It is a fascinating story, and in this interview he gives us a taste of what it was like…

In the fourth part of this series Kamal talks about helping fight the Soviets in Afghanistan, and how he met members of the CIA there.  He also tells of how his mission of “culture jihad” in the U.S. flourished and how it continues successfully to this day.  Finally, he tells of the events leading up to and including his conversion to Christianity and how this changed him.

In the fifth part of this interview Kamal talks about how the freedoms guaranteed in the U.S. are exploited by radical Islam.  He also talks about his love of America and how this country is in for a fight.  He then goes on to discuss the dangers he faces daily because of the stand he has taken.

Finally, in the sixth part of his interview Mr. Saleem tells us about the danger and spread of radical Islam.  He also tells of Iran’s plans to usher in the end times, and the creation in Iran of a radical youth movement which he compares to the Hitler Youth.  Finally, he says the massage of his book is, “Wake up America”

Food for thought: In 2009 the estimated world Muslim population was 1.57 billion, if the 15% radical Islamist estimate is correct, that would mean there are approximately 235 million radical Islamists in the world.  The U.S. population in 2010 is estimated to have been 308 million.  Think about that for a moment and you will realize just how ignorant the argument, that we shouldn’t worry about radical Islam because only a small percentage of Muslims are radicals, really is.  Or, maybe I’m just one of those Islamophobes Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is talking about…

More from the Kamal Saleem interview on The Blood of Lambs…

Last week I posted the first part of an interview that Kamal Saleem did concerning his book, The Blood of Lambs.  If you don’t know who Kamal Saleem is check out his website here, or I can give you a brief summary now.

Kamal was born in Lebanon and recruited by Arafat’s Fatah faction at the age of seven.  At that age he completed his first mission of smuggling weapons into Israel.  As he grew older he continued working for Fatah and the PLO, eventually he came to the U.S., where he worked at recruiting Americans to Islam in effort to bring radical Islamic teaching to the U.S.  While here he experienced a life changing event that caused him to change his beliefs.  Now he seeks to raise awareness to the dangers of radical Islam in America.  That is a very brief summary, that is why I am trying to get these videos up.  Today I am going to put up the second and third parts of the interview.

You can catch the first one here, or you can find them all together on his site here.

Here is the second part of the interview in which he talks about his first two missions as a seven year old and also about how he met Yasser Arafat.  He then discusses the fact that the teachings of Islam call for the destruction of all non-Muslims, and some of the tactics he was taught to help turn the public against his enemy rather than himself.

Here is the third part of the interview in which Kamal talks about what his life was like outside of training and missions, and he also talks about some of his experiences during the Lebanese Civil War.  He then goes on to discuss getting funding from Saudi Arabia and other Arab countries and the concept of “culture jihad.”

Once again, if you want to see them all together you can find all six parts of the interview here.

Kamal Saleem: Education of a terrorist…

A few days ago I posted a review of The Blood of Lambs a book by Kamal Saleem in which he tells the story of becoming a PLO/Fatah terrorist at the age of seven and growing up as a terrorist.  His story and how he came to reject his radical beliefs fascinated me and made me eager to learn more about the mindset of terrorists.  I have already read another book by an ex-terrorist, Son of Hamas by Mosab Hassan Yousef, which I plan to put up a review for in the next couple days.  I also spent some time looking around for more information about people who have turned their back on radical Islam.

I found some very interesting stuff.  Kamal Saleem travels around the country talking about radical Islam and the creeping influence that it is pursuing in this country.  Another former PLO terrorist who is trying to inform America of the continuing dangers posed by radical Islam is Walid Shoebat he also maintains a blog in which he discusses issues pertinent to the Middle-East, terrorism, etc.  The amazing thing to me is how willing people are to call these men frauds, here is a page Mr. Shoebat has that is dedicated to addressing some of these attacks, in his discussion of the media he says:

They were glad to label me during my terror days as a freedom fighter, now they label me a racist and an Islamophobe. The same media that believed us during my terror supporting days when we were lying, yet refuse to believe us when we are telling the truth.

Overall I would say these men and their message are important and we would do well to heed their warnings.  On Kamal Saleem’s website I found an interview in which he discusses his book, The Blood of Lambs, and tells some of the stories from his time as a terrorist.  Here is the first part of that interview in which he discusses being recruited and trained in Lebanon…

There are six parts to the interview, this is just the first part.  I plan to post the other six parts in the future, but if you would like to see them now, you can find them here.
