A couple things that caught my eye…

It appears (according to Gallup) that for the first time since The One was immaculated, even the poor disapprove of the job he is doing…  Apparently they’re realizing that although he promised socialism he (thank goodness) can’t deliver… At least not yet.

…And maybe this contributed to the unrest of the masses…  I found this video from Bankrupting America on Hot Air.  In this video they quiz folks on what the stimulus money was spent on…  Helping hookers drink less?  Building turtle tunnels? What do you think?  Watch and learn…

Hehehe… Mitt, you need to listen up if you want a chance in ’12

Heres some great stuff…

Mitt Romney is trying to be a “regular guy” by driving a pickup truck to political events…

According to Hot Air the truck is actually one that he has had for some time and is actually a little beat up…  But still, I don’t think people will buy this shtick…

Now don’t get me wrong… I’m not hating on Mitt, as a matter of fact, I would have taken him any day over McCain in ’08…  But I guess thats not saying much, is it?  Anyway, what mean is, I’m not try to trash him here… I just want to give him some “constructive criticism”…

I’m thinking that The Ace of Spades has a good idea when he says, “I think Romney has to do better at revealing who he is… Sometimes the truth is worth a shot (after you’ve tried everything else, of course).” What a great idea!

…And the folks at Hot Air expanded on this Idea: “Cruise up in a stretch limo with a platinum ‘WMR’ hood ornament, then roll down the window to reveal that you’re rocking a pair of high-end Ray-Bans. First shouted line: ‘Did someone here call for an economy repairman?’ “

Lets think of a list of reasons this could work…

1. One-of-a-kind: He would gain massive support for being the first politician in recent memory to actually genuinely show what he is all about…

2. TO/Ochocinco (the NFL wide receivers) effect: While most people pretend to be put off by these two’s arrogant act, somehow they draw fans to their games in droves. My conclusion:  people are drawn to a cocky, obnoxious, I’m-the-best attitude…  It works for the Libs anyway…

3. It would be frickin’ cool: ‘nuf said…

4. It would steal media coverage away from Obama: Which will no doubt be a tough thing to do come “re-emaculation” time…

5. I like it: And since I have “The RIGHT Opinions” you can’t go wrong.

So there you go Mitt step up and wow us with the “real” you… If you follow this blueprint, who knows? You might even come in second to whoever I vote for in the 2012 Republican primary…

McCaskill: the Missouri hillbillies just don’t understand how much we’re helping them…

During a Wednesday conference call with reporters, Sen. Claire McCaskill (MO) gave her reaction to the landslide passage of Prop. C last night…

McCaskill started out sounding like she was going to acknowledge that the Washington elite had gone against the will of the people by saying, “Message received.” Butttttt thennnn….

She decided it was just a matter of her ignorant constituents not  knowing a good thing when they see it: “I think there has been … a lot of noise about the mandate that people have gotten so focused on that they don’t realize that there’s going to be more access and affordability and more choices,” Basically she is saying that we (the people of Missouri) are too distracted by the fact that the Federal government is going to punish people for not buying something, that we don’t understand that we are really being given a better option (which is complete and utter B.S. in and of itself)…

Thanks Claire, good to know you value the opinion of your constituents…

On a some what related note, apparently the tea party supports Obamacare.  What? you may be asking…  Well according to Newsweek last night was a terrible night for tea partiers everywhere…

Yup, the spin is coming fast and furious… Just a word of advice,  be careful not to let all the spin get you dizzy, this was in fact a statement by the people of Missouri that they don’t need the federal government to tell what to-and-not-to buy.

Wooohooo! Missouri rules! Down with Obamacare…

I love being a Missourian tonight!

Perhaps this begins to make up for electing a dead man to the Senate…

What am I rambling on about?  In Missouri tonight the people have spoken.  Telling Obama and the rest of the power-hungry Liberals in D.C. exactly where they can shove their Obamacare…

We in Missouri passed Proposition C in a landslide… Yes 71.1% /No 28.9% (Thanks to Missouri Election Night Reporting)

Prop. C read in part:

1. No law or rule shall compel, directly or indirectly, any person, employer, or health care provider to participate in any health care system.
2. A person or employer may pay directly for lawful health care services and shall not be required by law or rule to pay penalties or fines for paying directly for lawful health care services. A health care provider may accept direct payment for lawful health care services and shall not be required by law or rule to pay penalties or fines for accepting direct payment from a person or employer for lawful health care services.
3. Subject to reasonable and necessary rules that do not substantially limit a person’s options, the purchase or sale of health insurance in private health care systems shall not be prohibited by law or rule.”

This is just the first wave of rebuke directed at Obama and his cronies by the American people.  Several similar initiatives will be on state ballots come November…

Update: Better writers touching on this topic that I found this morning…

Are You Freaking Stupid?: Missouri: “Take your Obamacare and shove it!” : “Thank you Missouri.  We are glad you stepped up and said “WE ARE NOT A SOCIALIST                                                                                                                                                                              NATION”.”

Len Britton is brilliant…

I found this great campaign ad for Len Britton on Hot Air

“Better bail faster Billy” … Classic…

While you’re  there check out his other ad “Better get a paper route Billy”

Len Britton is running to unseat crazed Liberal Senator Pat Leahy.
