Despite this her video is still getting out through the efforts of bloggers around the country. Here it is if you want to see it or embed it… As I am posting this, it appears that this video has been watched at least 14,000 times, and it was only posted this morning…
Rove has worked hard for many anti-establishment candidates including: Marco Rubio, Sharon Angle, etc. He has made personal donations to Christine O’Donnell’s campaign. When the rumor was out that the NRSC was not going to back O’Donnell Rove called the head of the NRSC and was looking for answers before he was told that rumor was false. I still think he doesn’t go after Democrats the way he should, but perhaps I was too quick to jump his case for being an “establishment” RINO. In the video below you will see that he doesn’t like being called a member of the “establishment,” and he also provides a valid explanation for his comments Tuesday night.
I found this at Hot Air, and here is how Ed Morrisey ended his post, I believe it hits the nail on the head:
“In the end, I think O’Donnell takes the right approach. Karl Rove has worked tirelessly for at least two decades to elect Republicans in good times and in bad, as part of the establishment while at the White House and with the grassroots later. Part of unity after the primaries is burying the hatchet on petty squabbles. It makes no sense to demonize Rove forever after one bad night, just as it makes no sense to keep picking at the Castle v O’Donnell argument after the primary election concluded. Let’s just focus on winning seats on November 2nd with the candidates selected by voters in their own primaries.”
The GOP ruling class of Washington insiders is working on insuring its own extinction. As it plays the sore loser by snubbing Christine O’Donnell after she had the gall to kick the butt of the candidate who had been handpicked by the establishment. Matt Lewis of Politics Daily believes this is a foolhardy choice by the elitists:
“In snubbing O’Donnell, the GOP was in essence snubbing the grassroots conservatives who voted for her — an unwise move.”
Unwise indeed. The fact that the “grassroots conservatives” are cleaning house should give these RINO’s pause; but they are, in fact, too arrogant to realize that “the bell tolls” not just for the Democrats but for all liberals. W. James Antle, III (awesome name by the way), when referring to Tea Party voters puts it this way:
“They were not bothered by the party establishment’s threats that this would cause them to lose the election. Better to an elect an honest liberal, they reasoned, than a liberal in Republican’s clothing. — For how is it a victory to elect a liberal with an “R” next to her name rather than a “D?” What does it profit a movement to win an election but lose its soul?”
Over at Hot Air they keyed in on Karl Rove’s apparent battle with some of sort mild psychosis. How else can you explain the “conservative grand architect’s” outrage that O’Donnell had won the primary. I just can’t conceive why, when this country is in desperate need of saving, Rove thinks that someone who believes in America is not electable but someone who voted for “Cap and Steal” is…
Here is Rush Limbaugh expounding the fact that this seems to be a struggle not between Democrat and Republican, but between Washington “insiders” and the citizens. He also wonders why Rove has never gotten this worked up about anything any Democrat has ever done…
Today I would like to introduce you to two conservatives making bids for the U.S. Congress this November…
One is Vickie Hartzler from the MO-04 district, my home district; and the other is Scott Rigell from the VA-02 district. Both of these races have been called toss-ups by RealClearPolitics, MO-04 here and VA-02 here. This November we need to take every seat we can and therefore I feel these races are worth some coverage. These are not the only races, there are plenty of others that need attention, these just happen to be the two that worked for now. Today I would just like to show you where you can learn more about these candidates and encourage you to support them if you live in their district, and even if you don’t…
First, Vicky Hartzler, here is her first campaign video…
Something interesting I found on Scott Rigell’s website is his Ten Commandments he will abide by if elected…
1. I WILL LISTEN TO YOUR CONCERNS, ISSUES AND IDEAS.
2. I WILL LEAD BY EXAMPLE.
3. I WILL BRING ACCOUNTABILITY TO WASHINGTON, D.C.
4. AMERICA’S FOUNDING DOCUMENTS WILL GUIDE MY DECISIONS.
5. I WILL SERVE EVERY PART OF OUR COMMUNITY.
6. WASHINGTON, D.C. WILL NEVER BE CALLED MY HOME.
7. I WILL ALWAYS BE ACCESSIBLE, INCLUDING AT HOME. MY PHONE NUMBER IS: 757-496-4113.
8. I WILL NEVER VOTE ON A BILL THAT I HAVE NOT REVIEWED.
9. I WILL DO WHATEVER IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THAT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE REMAIN SAFE AND FREE.
10. I WILL NEVER FORGET WHY YOU SENT ME TO WASHINGTON.
Not something you see everyday.
Anyway this is just an introduction to these two candidates, look for more on these races in the coming weeks…
Here, according to The Other McCain (who seems trustworthy to me), is a candidate for congress that, “simply, calmly, honorably rocks like the new hotness.” Namely, Col. Patrick Murray.
On another note, Christine O’Donnell is another every-day conservative trying to take down life-time politician RINO in Delaware and she needs support for the primary Tuesday…
